Sendai Mediatheque is a Complex Culture Faculty. The glazed appearance is very characteristic. On the first floor, there is a cafe where you can enjoy Belgium beer and a shop with art related goods. At the open square on the 1st floor, gallery on the 5th and 6th floors, and at the theater on the 7th floor, there are events, exhibitions, and screening. The Sendai Mediatheque was built by Mr. Toyoo Ito, a architect who has won many awards including the Good Design Award.
・Open Hours: 9:00am - 10:00pm (Library: [Tues. - Fri] 10:00am - 8:00pm, [Sat. Sun. Holiday] 10:00am - 6:00pm)
・Closed every 4th Thursday of the month. (Library:Closed on Mondays, If a Monday is a holiday, Tuesday will be closed, and every 4th Thursday of the month)
