  • Zuihoden Hall was made a year after the death in 1636 of Masamune Date, a federal lord of Sendai when he was 70 years old. The gorgeous temple was designated as the national treasure in 1931 but was burned down due to the war. Later, in 1979, it was reconstructed and brought back to life together with Kansenden of the 2nd federal lord Tadamune Date and Zenouden of the 3rd federal lord Tsunamune Date. Inside, there are personal belongings and precious goods exhibited.
