  • Bansui Doi, a poet, an English scholar, and a former professor of the Second High School until 1934 spent 3 years at this house before his death. The house, bed,books, photos and many more are left as they were.
    He was known as the lyric writer of "Kojo no Tuki" - moon over the ruined castle, composed by Rentaro Taki. The lyrics were written by the request from Tokyo Music School (Now, Tokyo University of the Arts) and was on the music textbook for junior high school students in 1901.
